Follow · Like · Comment · Share is the four-word strip creators put under a reel or at the end of an Instagram bio. It is not a graphic and not a font: it is plain text with coloured circles between the words, which is the entire reason it can be copied out of someone else’s caption and into yours.

This page holds the 1,171 versions visitors have contributed, used 38,147 times, ranked below by the votes they earned.

What the strip is actually made of

Take the most-copied version apart and there is nothing in it that a keyboard could not produce — except the separators, which are emoji.

The version this page is named for, character by character:

h U+0068 Latin Small Letter H

The words are ordinary lowercase Latin. The separators are the coloured-circle emoji — 🔵 U+1F535, 🔴 U+1F534, 🟠 U+1F7E0 — and nothing else is doing any work. That matters practically: because every part is text, the strip survives being copied between apps that share no fonts and no styling. A screenshot of the same thing does not.

It also means the strip has no owner and no “original”. Any four words and any three separators produce a working version, which is why the list below runs to four figures.

Every part of it is a character, which is why it survives a paste.

The ranking is the visitors’, not ours. For scale, the page ranking above this one for the term lists 110 variants carrying 27,989 votes. This page holds 1,171.

A caption has room for it. A bio barely does, and a handle refuses it.

Where it goes, and where Instagram will not take it

The strip belongs in a caption or a bio. It does not belong in a display name, and the length limits are the reason.

Where Limit Strip fits? Note
Reel or post caption 2,200 characters Yes Where it is meant to go. Put it on its own line at the end
Instagram bio 150 characters Yes Fits, but a full four-word strip eats a third of the bio
Display name 30 characters Rarely The shortest versions only; a full strip is refused
Username (@handle) 30 characters No Letters, numbers, full stops and underscores only — no emoji at all

Measured against the 179 variants sampled from this page’s own list, the median is 25 characters — comfortable in a caption, tight in a bio, and out of the question in a handle. Limits checked against the live app in September 2026.

The separators, and better ones than dots

The coloured circles are the default, not the requirement. Any character that reads as a break will do, and the thinner ones look considerably less like every other caption. These are drawn from the arrow, heart, star, sparkle and fire collections — a different set from any other page on Nickname SoShareIT.

Assembled, using the same four words:

Why the words are in that order

Follow, like, comment, share is not an arbitrary sequence — it runs from the cheapest action to the most expensive one. A like costs a tap. A comment costs a sentence. A share costs putting your own name behind someone else’s post, and it is the one that actually moves a reel.

Which is worth knowing before copying a strip that asks for all four at once. Creators who ask for one thing get more of it than creators who ask for four, and the strips in the list above that lead with share rather than follow are the ones doing something slightly cleverer than the default.

Short forms, for bios with no room

A 150-character bio cannot spare fifty on a call to action. These are the compressed versions people actually use:

More separators, for building your own.

Questions people ask about the strip

How do I copy the follow like comment share text?

Tap any item in the grids above — it copies to your clipboard as text, then pastes into a caption or bio as-is. Nothing is downloaded and nothing is an image.

Why does it paste correctly when a font does not?

Because it is not a font. The letters are ordinary characters and the separators are emoji, both of which travel between apps. A styled font, by contrast, is often just characters from a different Unicode block, which is why some of those show as boxes and this does not.

Can I use it as my Instagram name?

Only the shortest versions. The display name allows 30 characters and the username allows no emoji at all — the strip is for the caption and the bio.

What are the coloured dots called?

Large coloured circles: 🔵 U+1F535, 🔴 U+1F534, 🟠 U+1F7E0. They are ordinary emoji, so any other character works just as well as a separator.

Can I add my own version?

Yes. The box under the list at the top of this page takes it, and it joins the same ranking.
